It is more of a kit model than a toy something that will be admired on a shelf. The paint is flat, just like a real tank. I kinda liked that because in my opinion, the tank looks better without them. The decals are not applied at the factory, rather they are on a sheet in the box. There are functional LED lights on the canon during firing and on the tank when moving. It also aims high and low and is all controlled from the remote. The canon swivels left and right, but not all the way around. The canon really does fire airsoft BBs and quite forcefully. The range also does not let you get more than a few steps away from the vehicle. The edges are rough and the buttons are loose. Buttons are unintuitive and if you press the wrong one, you have to stop and reprogram it while your tank loses control and goes hay-wire. I have nothing good to say about the remote. You can not forget that you are charging the battery or it will fail (or worse). The battery holds a charge for quite some time, but the configuration of the battery/charger can cause the battery to over charge. It doesn't affect the use of the tank, but it is not really a kids toy either. A few of the pieces broke before I could install them and pretty much all of the parts eventually broke after installation. It requires some model construction to finish the build, but you can run it without the finishing touches. However, the type of plastic used in construction is not particularly durable and can break with very little effort. I bought the tank for 50% discount and I think it was worth it. It is very realistic in form and function.
